The Lies That Bind

The Lies That Bind - Emily Giffin

my review : ✮✮✮

This book has me soooo conflicted. The story was incredibly addicting, I was reading this book like my life depended on it. The twists and turns were truly batshit crazy.

But... the writing was not my favorite and the handling of 9/11 (not a spoiler) felt a little disrespectful to the real victims of 9/11.
Honestly... to me this is a real beach read. A bit of romance, addicting plot lines, and some ridiculous bits that make you order another piña colada to get through.

Best paired with this beautiful matcha latte pictured here! I stole @fashion_jackson ‘s recipe which you can find in my story! The adorable (and edible!) flowers are from @plummarket 🌸 🌺!

you’ll love this book if you love:

  • An entirely engrossing and binge-able story

my favorite quote:

“We may not get do-overs in life, but we can always have fresh starts and new beginnings.”
