The subject matter is a bit heavy, but it’s handled well, and despite everything, the story isn’t a downer. Tabitha’s sister has died (check trigger warnings, there’s a lot of discussion about addiction), and while Tabitha is grieving and packing up her sister’s apartment, she encounters her sister’s (insanely hot) landlord... the same man who evicted her sister. When Tabitha learns that her sister named HER LANDLORD as the guardian of her three-year-old nephew (yes, stick with me here), she (understandably!!) loses it. Long story short: they’re forced to get married.

I know it sounds like a soap opera (as every good BRAD should), but it’s actually a sweet story filled with tension, and it’s HOT. Oh, I forgot to mention... Rhys is a WWE wrestler. It’s not as cringey as it sounds, but he keeps his wrestling career a secret from everyone. I was hooked from the beginning, but if you’re struggling, the story picks up significantly once they get married.

This is book three in the Rose Hill series, but can be read as a standalone!
