This was one of those books that kind of made me resent my husband. Anywho... Mollie's estranged dad died, and when she goes to his will reading, she's ready to take over his very lucrative ranch and sell it to the highest bidder so she can pour her earnings into her beloved cowgirl boot brand.
However, when the lawyer reveals that her dad has a stipulation in the will...she can only inherit the ranch after spending a year working and living on it-she is furious. She's a city girl! What would she do on a ranch?! Especially given the fact that it's run by the most insanely infuriating man she's ever crossed paths with (said man is also stupidly handsome, built like a pro athlete, and wears cowboy boots & a pair of wranglers like nobody's business). They hate each other! He resents the fact that she never visited her dad, who became a father figure to him! She resents the fact that he thought he'd be taking over the farm! They both resent the fact that the other one is so. damn. hot! Dual POV. Lots of yeehaws and ya'lls. Loved it. This is book one in the Lucky Rivers Ranch series!
