Low Profile

Edith Zimmerman

my review : ✮✮✮✮✮

This little novella packs a major romance punch. It somehow manages to be a feet-kicking, butterfly-inducing romance while also tackling some heavier subject matter. I loved it. I hated that it was a freaking novella! I wanted to stretch parts of this book out like saltwater taffy. I guess it’s better to be left wanting more, but my eyes will be ON THIS AUTHOR. Out this spring. Sorry for teasing ya. Best paired with sunflowers and strawberries. Or rain. It’s a whole thing!!

Whoops, I forgot the synopsis: A journalist spent one night with an A-list actor while profiling him a decade ago. The article had definite will-they-won’t-they energy, so the public kind of freaked out about it back in the day. It’s been a decade, and she’s reaching out to the actor for the first time as she needs a comment from him for her book.

First date butterflies, sharp writing, even a Hollywood leading man couldn’t have distracted me from this!!
