Big Fan
Big Fan
Alexandra Romanoff
my review : ✮✮✮✮✮
I always find novellas lacking. Either they’re great, but I want so much more, or they’re too short for me to get excited about. This is the exception. Big Fan is a sexy, smart, & satisfying read that can be devoured in an evening. You can learn about public policy and get hot & bothered all in 200 pages. What more can a girl want?
This story is about Maya, a badass political consultant who is coming off a scandal and is trying to rehab her career while staying under the radar. Enter: Charlie Blake, a former boy band member turned solo artist who wants Maya to help him with his relaunch. He’s everything but under the radar…
Total swoonfest. Cancel your plans tonight and start.
I would not read this on your Kindle, as it would be a shame to camouflage this gorgeous cover with Kindle’s depressing grayscale. Also, she’s stunning and deserves to accompany you out on the town.
Best paired with an old-fashioned (bonus points for using Mitcher’s Bourbon, Maya’s favorite), which will undoubtedly make the zing that lands with each of Charlie’s words even zingier.
P.S. The song playing with my post is from the book! How cool is that!!!
