Dinner for Vampires
Dinner for Vampires
Bethany Joy Lenz
my review : ✮✮✮✮
What a wild ride. I think it’s imperative that you go the audiobook route with this story. Bethany Joy Lenz is an incredibly talented storyteller in both her writing style and her actual ability to tell her story. I was entertained throughout every minute of this book. I laughed, I cried, I said, “Oh, Bethany…” Heartbreaking yet hopeful. So well done.
In this book, Bethany documents her upbringing and her experience joining and taking part in a cult, all while starring in the cult classic TV show One Tree Hill. I don’t think you have to be an OTH fan to find this book utterly fascinating (yet, if you are a fan, there are a few surprises in the audiobook for you!).
I wish Bethany nothing but the best. I had such a newfound respect for her talent & vulnerability after reading this.
