When I heard about this book, I bought it immediately. I can live longer by having fun with friends and not force-feeding myself beets!!!? Sign me up!!
Is it a dry non-fiction? Yes!!!!
Will it help you live longer? Maybe!!!!
Did I buy this just to justify my 1-cake-a-month diet? Who knows!!
Did I grossly oversimplify the premise of this book? 100%!!!!!
This book helps you adjust your thinking on what really matters. I’m not saying this is going to change your life, but it will give you some helpful tidbits that you can use every day.
My takeaways from this book: Have fun! Volunteer! Tell the people you love that you love them! Kiss more!! Meditate! Appreciate the little things!! Find a hobby! Be kind to yourself! Prioritize time with friends!! Eat the damn ice cream!!
Best enjoyed with a glass of very cold champagne. Don’t save the good stuff for a special occasion, today is the special occasion 🥂!!
