Girl is engaged to a terrible man, learns he was cheating on her, ends the engagement, and moves in with his BFF who happens to be a hot, rich, protective hockey enforcer. Steam is excellent (equal parts plot to spice), but the book felt about 100 pages too long. I feel the same way about the Windy City series, so I can’t tell if it’s just a “me” issue. Overall, I would for sure read another book by this author.
