Tessa Bailey has been pretty hit or miss for me lately (Hit: It Happened One Summer / Miss: Sincerely, Yours), but this one was a HIT! Grumpy, tall, dark, and handsome NHL enforcer falls for his au pair. It’s not creepy like it sounds, but it is sexy. You mayyyyyy need to suspend your disbelief when it comes to healthy parenting of a teenage daughter/sleeping with her au pair to have fun with it!!

I majorly enjoyed this and thought it was H O T. This contained my favorite trope (I don’t think this is a trope, but I think it should be—should I see a therapist?): leading man royally screws up and does some serious groveling.

This is book 2 in the series, but can be read standalone—that’s exactly what I did. Fangirl Down (book 1) is now on my TBR!
