Forget Me Not
Forget Me Not

my review : ✮✮✮✮
This romance is SO sexy and charming. I had a total ball reading it. It’s a second-chance romance between a dazzling wedding planner and a broody florist. She doesn’t believe in commitment & he pretty much loves it. If you swoon when the guy hates everyone but the girl, you’re going to love this. Do you like tattoos? And flowers you’ve never heard of? And donuts? And white-hot chemistry? And lots of brooding? Then you’re going to gobble this up.
Ama Torres is an incredibly talented and creative wedding planner. Elliot Bloom is the insanely artistic owner of Blooming, one of the leading florists in Sacramento. Ama & Elliot used to be unstoppable when they put their heads together. The weddings they worked on were pure magic. What else was magic? The chemistry between these two during their relationship. After a rocky breakup, the duo no longer works together. That is, until Ama snags the wedding that will make her career, and their only ask is that Blooming does the flowers.
The storytelling was excellent & the spice was scrumptious. The story is told in two points of view: Ama’s, which is set in the present day, and Elliot’s, which is set in the past, when they had a relationship. I thought that was such a unique way to tell this story, and it really had me hooked. An added bonus was getting a behind-the-scenes peek into the wedding planning world, which I found totally fascinating to learn more about.
Best paired with (allegedly) the #1 cocktail served at weddings, the Moscow Mule!
