All I Want Is You
All I Want Is You
Falon Ballard
my review : ✮✮✮✮
Short, sweet, and freaking sexy. The Christmas cheer is less Hallmark movie sleigh rides & mistletoe and more snowy tartan & cozy fireplace vibes. Delicious and delightful, with just enough Christmas puns in there to remind you that it’s the holiday season.
This is an enemies-to-lovers second-chance romance, told via two POVs. The premise of this book: a guy and a girl dated, broke up, and are obviously mortal enemies now. They are at an awards ceremony for their work (oops, did I forget to mention they are both romance writers?!), and when a big snowstorm blows in, they get STRANDED. Not only is there only one room... there’s ONLY ONE BED.
Take all the tension from enemies-to-lovers and add the angst from second-chance romance, and you have a fire so hot that even the North Pole would melt (I am trying my hand at Christmas puns!! ‘Tis the season!!).
(This is not a spoiler!) If you’ve read this…. am I crazy to think this would be EVEN better told via a single POV?
Best paired with a peppermint mocha or @drinkswithdanica’s Holiday French 75!
