The Christmas Fix
The Christmas Fix
Lucy Score
my review : ✮✮✮
Take a Hallmark movie, make it steamy, and you get this HGTV-inspired romance!
When Merry, CT, gets hit by a late-season hurricane, Cat King is ready to bring her cameras and crew to the town to help make it merry in time for Christmas Eve. The only thing standing in her way? The serious, brooding, and very handsome city manager, Noah Yates. Noah doesn’t want his town overrun by a reality show and has little faith that Cat can pull off a Christmas miracle. Can she do it?! Can they get over their mutual hatred!? Can Christmas be saved??!!
I would consider this a light B.R.A.D. It’s steamy but more plot-driven than most B.R.A.D.s. I thought this was sweet, sexy, and fun. Enemies to lovers, so there was lots of good tension, but for a while, I just thought Cat & Noah genuinely hated each other. Like other Lucy Score books I’ve read, it did feel a bit looooong, but overall, I thought it was a fun holiday treat.
Speaking of fun holiday treats, this is best paired with the poinsettia cocktail. Swipe for the recipe!! 🎄🎄🎄
