Grace & Henry's Holiday Movie Marathon
Grace & Henry's Holiday Movie Marathon

my review : ✮✮✮✮
What a funny, touching, lovely holiday romance that is heartwarming in the way all holiday stories should be!
This book explores grief in such a well done way: I laughed! I cried! I waited with bated breath for a kiss!
Grace and Henry are unlikely friends. Their meddling mothers had hoped to set them up, as they are both grieving their deceased partners. When the pair realized their mothers’ intentions, they decided instead to be friends and help each other navigate the holiday season.
I realized I’ve been slogging through some romances, because this book was the exact opposite experience. I couldn’t put it down, and I flew right through it. Perfectly paced, funny, & touching.
Grace reminds me of an Annabel Monaghan leading lady, funny, self-deprecating, relatable, and not 22 years old! I often have a hard time coming up with over-35 leading women, and I am happy to add Grace to the bunch!
Best paired with Henry’s favorite drink- rose!!! Swipe for his festive recipe!
