Big Little Truths
Big Little Truths
Liane Moriarty
my review : ✮✮✮✮
Just as addictive and unputdownable as its predecessor, Big Little Lies! From the moment I started this book, all I wanted to do was read it.
This is the sequel to BLL and follows the same group of moms 10 years later. Their kids are bigger, and so are all of their issues.
I didn’t reread BLL, and the author’s note at the beginning says this can actually be read as a standalone. Honestly, just Googling who played each of the women was a good refresher! The hardest thing I had to keep straight was whose kids belonged to who! But, despite the hefty cast of characters, I was completely hooked from the first page and so happy to be reunited with these characters.
The story kicks off with a severed human finger that’s been sent in the mail to the principal of the high school! More mystery than thriller!
I think women of all ages will feel quite seen in these pages.
Something about this story screams spicy margarita. It’s never consumed on the page, but it just feels right. Swipe for what I mixed up for this book!
