You know when you want to SHAKE the characters in your book and say, “It is so clear you love each other, just SAY IT!!”… this is one of those books.

It’s also one of those can't-eat, can't-sleep, reach-for-the-stars, over-the-fence, World Series kind of reads. Just a book that makes you smile to yourself and swoon. The way this author writes is so dreamy to read. She created a world I want to curl up and live in.

This book is about Stella, the owner of a Christmas tree farm, who finds herself in some dire financial straits as everything that could go wrong with the farm does. Enter a totally fabulous Instagram Influencer who picks Stella’s farm as a finalist for a big cash prize and tons of publicity. (Side note: what do I have to do to be an Insta influencer who goes to Christmas tree farms and eats bearclaws all day!?!?!?!? I will start selling freaking Vici if that job is available. The only issue is that Stella wanted to make the farm seem like a romantic destination for the holidays, so she lied on the application and said she owns Lovelight Farms with her boyfriend. Only … there is no boyfriend. Enter her (hot) best friend, Luka Peters. He just (allegedly) came home for some hot chocolate, and somehow got a farm and a serious “girlfriend” in the process.

Warning: this may squeeze your heart and make you want to kiss all the people you love on the lips… prepare for joy and hope and all the lovely things.

Best paired with a big fat flute of champagne garnished with bright red cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.
