Ugh, I wanted to love this!! I LOVE this author’s other book (The Wedding Date), but this missed the mark for me. Maybe it’s that the other holiday books I’ve read have just been SO good… this one was a little too slow and didn’t captivate me.

Vivian Forest accompanies her daughter to England over the holidays while her daughter is there to style the duchess (coolest job ever!!). While her daughter is busy measuring, shopping, and accessorizing, Vivian meets a very handsome man who happens to be the private secretary to the queen! The rest is romantic and royal history. You will be a fan if you like all things royalty 👑 .

I did enjoy a hot toddy with this book, heavyyyy on the whiskey.

I am on to the rest of the Winter Street Series next!!
