Any Trope but You

my review : ✮✮✮✮
Sweet, swoony, and snowy!
Liv is a romance writer who is disenchanted with love. After a career-altering scandal, at the urging of her sister, she flees to a retreat in the middle of Alaska that happens to be run by a totally gorgeous mountain man. She is in no way looking for love - she’s looking for a manuscript! She’s working on an Alaskan murder mystery, and no rugged, handsome doctor slash competent outdoorsman is going to distract her, no matter how many tropes the universe sends her way.
This book is a love letter to the romance books we love and the tropes that make them up. I thought it was totally delightful. This book will have you wishing for snow... and a sauna (IYKYK).
In honor of the snowy setting, I’ll be pairing this with a melting snowman mocktail from @thesocialsipper! If you’re looking for something boozy, you must make the drunken snowman (hot chocolate, Bailey’s, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream). Cheers!
