If I don’t immediately become a coffee shop owner in an idyllic small town in New England where all the townspeople are either lovable meddlers or hot farmers, I will freak out. A little cheesy, a lot insta-lovely, but the fall vibes alone were enough to keep me hooked.
Jeanie is the newest owner of Dream Harbor’s beloved Pumpkin Spice Cafe after she was suddenly gifted the shop by her aunt. When she moves to this picturesque town, she immediately meets Logan, the town’s beloved yet grumpy hot bachelor! You can see where this is going! And we love it!
I am all for instant love, but the instant love in this book was very insta-lovey! Alas, I persevered because I wanted to sip PSLs and crunch golden leaves beneath my feet in the town of Dream Harbor! I am a total sucker for anything that resembles my dream world of Stars Hollow, and a blustery fall evening spent with this book and a cup of tea will not disappoint.
We are pairing this beauty with a pumpkin spice espresso martini! I used one part @kahlua, one part @titosvodka, one part espresso, and .5 parts pumpkin spice syrup (I got mine from @worldmarket)! I shook that all up in a shaker filled with ice and strained it into a martini glass, plopped 3 espresso beans on top, and added a few dashes of pumpkin pie spice, and voila!
