Eight Hundred Grapes
Eight Hundred Grapes
Laura Dave
my review : ✮✮✮✮
The perfect book to kick off fall!
This is the story of Georgia Ford and her fiancé and his secret that might screw everything up. It’s set against the backdrop of Sonoma County’s wine country. But it’s about so much more than that. It’s a story about love and heartbreak and family and wine (so much wine!!).
I love this author’s voice. This story is told in the most captivating way.
Wrap yourself in your favorite blanket, pour a perfect jammy Pinot Noir (ideally from Sonoma County), and savor this book.
you’ll love this book if you love:
The Parent Trap (Napa scenes)
Brothers & Sisters (ABC show)
my favorite quote:
“You have to grow about eight hundred grapes to get just one bottle of wine. If that isn’t an argument to finish the bottle, I don’t know what is.”
