The Future Saints

The Future Saints

Ashley Winstead

my review : ✮✮✮

This book is the story of The Future Saints, a rock band that has hit a rough patch. Their manager died, and their lead singer is dealing with her grief by taking the band’s music in a new direction. When their new manager, an ambitious exec from the record label, shows up, they aren’t thrilled about working with a suit. But after a few viral moments, things begin to turn around for the band, and pretty soon everyone in the country knows who The Future Saints are.

This is a story of grief, ambition, love, and heartbreak.

At times, I thought it was very well done, but ultimately, I just had a hard time connecting to the characters.

I also think that because of the way it was written, it is hard not to constantly compare it to Daisy Jones and the Six, but it is most definitely its own thing.

I think this author is so talented, and there’s a chance I am bringing too much of my own baggage to this book! Don’t let me deter you. Take a look at Goodreads and see some glowing reviews. There is a very good chance you’re going to love this.

you’ll love this book if you love:
