Mean Moms

Mean Moms - Emma Rosenblum

my review : ✮✮✮✮

This is a proper beach read! By that I mean it pulls you in right away. It doesn’t stress you out at all, and it’s entertaining and fun, although it feels a bit naughty to read. This is one of those ‘bad people behaving badly’ stories, so if you need your characters to be pillars of society, keep on walking!

This story is about a very exclusive school in NYC and the moms whose children attend it. One particular mom clique keeps being plagued by awful things happening to them—is it a coincidence? Is Mercury in retrograde? Or is something more nefarious at play?

I had fun reading this frothy story filled with designer labels, NYC hot spots, and gloriously over-the-top themed parties. It’s kind of like if Big Little Lies took place in NYC and everyone was nuts. I had fun with it!

This book is out in July and would make a great summer read, or an excellent back-to-school book, so you can feel good about your life, your friends, and your children!
