MY QUEEN 🥵

I have to admit, when I am reading a romantasy, I am there for the enemies-to-lovers, burn-the-world-down, high-stakes romance. Nothing else matters to me, and this book fits the bill!

I had so much fun reading this book. If you love a training montage (Cassian training Nesta, Xaden training Violet, etc.), you are going to love this. Not your typical fantasy: no fae or vampires in sight! But we have monsters, which was a thrilling new addition. This is already in the works as an Amazon movie, and I cannot wait to see it come to life on screen!

I cannot tell you the premise because I will totally spoil something, but parts of it are reminiscent of the Flesh and Fire series. It is much less steamy, a total slow burn (I am talking 80 percent slow, IYKYK). Worth the wait, but it could have been spicier (I am who I am)!
