This book had me running the full gamut of emotions every time I picked it up. I laughed, I sobbed, I gasped, I thought to myself, “this is weird,” I sighed, my heart broke and was put back together again and again and again! This is pining on another level.
This is not your average romance, people! We get a little sci-fi, we get some heavy subject matter, we get messy, and it’s just totally brilliant.
Don’t let the length fool you. The pacing is excellent, and the writing is superb. This is a sweeping, epic, decades-long love story.
It’s unlike anything I’ve read in recent memory. It will occupy your every thought if you let it.
I’ve omitted the synopsis because I went in totally blind, and I think that was part of the magic. This book is set in the acting world, from Hollywood to SNL to the improv stage.
Not for everyone, but it was for me!
