How to Write a Love Story

How to Write a Love Story

Catherine Walsh

my review : ✮✮✮

This book was funny and cute and exactly what the doctor ordered! A non-cheesy rom-com packed with lots of feelings set in the book world!

We meet Ciara Sheridan when she’s stuck with a serious case of writer’s block. She’s living in the house her late father left her, along with the outline for the final book in his wildly popular fantasy series. She is tasked with writing the book and she just… can’t. Enter: Her American editor, who has traveled all the way to Ireland to help her get this book done. It’s Ireland’s hottest summer on record, and these two have to beat the temps and their growing feelings for each other!

I find this author to be so funny and really great at banter. If you follow her on IG, you know it would be impossible for her to keep that sense of humor off the page!

Best paired with Ciara’s famous homemade lemonade, but since she hasn’t shared the recipe with me yet, I’ll channel Ina and say store bought is fine!!!!

you’ll love this book if you love:

  • Books set in the book world

  • Stories set in Ireland

  • Books where people have to finish a famous author's last book, but instead of a thriller like they usually are, it's a romance!
