Just Haven't Met You Yet

Just Haven't Met You Yet - Sophie Cousens

my review : ✮✮✮✮

An adorably upbeat romcom.

This was a cute story that asks “What if you picked up the wrong suitcase at the airport and fell (sight unseen!) in love with the owner!!?” Our heroine is a hopeless romantic who has been waiting for her “kablamoo” moment forever. As she heads to a small French island to piece together her parents love story for the publication she works for, she loses her luggage and heads on a wild goose chase (led by the most charming cab driver) to find her dream man. I was charmed by this sweet story.

Our heroine enjoys a very strong sangria that I was coveting the entire story. I think this true beach read is best paired with your favorite sangria (I love @bobbyflay recipe)

The entire time I read this book I had the song “I just haven’t met you yet” stuck in my head 🎶 so please prepare yourself for Michael Buble on repeat in your noggin.

xx

you’ll love this book if you love:

  • A fluffy romance

  • A meet-cute

my favorite quote:

“Someone once told me that growing up feeling loved allows you to go on to love other people. Maybe love is simply a huge chain letter, passed down through the generations. The details of the stories begin not to matter.”
