This fast, heart-wrenching, sexy romance is five stars in my book.

Macey has been through… a lot. Finally, her life is under control. She’s a doctor doing her residency at a prestigious hospital, and she’s engaged to a hot, famous artist. Sounds pretty dreamy… until she runs into her childhood BFF and love of her life at a coffee shop. I should mention…. she hasn’t talked to him in 11 years!! Which begs the question… why!!??

This book is a well-done friends-to-lovers masterpiece. Totally captivating, not cheesy, and just so sweet. Pure bliss!!

Best paired with a Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley (where the majority of this book takes place) @themodestcellar suggests Dairyman Pinot Noir and I trust them implicitly!!
