Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six
Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six
Lisa Unger
my review : ✮✮
The best part of this book was the title. I honestly think it’s brilliant! The actual story? Truly bat shit crazy. I had to suspend so much disbelief that I almost passed out. Honestly, the author did a great job of building suspense and tension, but it fell flat for me. Although it did keep me on the edge of my seat and entertained, so that’s something!
Three couples decide to spend the weekend cozied up in a secluded, over-the-top luxury cabin. As soon as the trip starts, something seems amiss, something is a little off with the host, the cabin has a bone-chilling history, and the group has its own complicated past that they cannot avoid. This is one luxury vacation you will be happy you weren’t invited to.
The sheer amount of POVs in this book is absurd. How is a girl to keep it straight?! Thank god I wasn’t drinking my normal thriller pairing of red wine, or else I would have given up altogether.
