Jill Is Not Happy
Jill Is Not Happy

my review
Not for me, but might be for you!
Jack and Jill are the dream couple: stunningly gorgeous, wealthy, living in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. But their marriage is strained. Jill plans a road trip to Utah to rekindle their romance, but Jack has other plans. He thinks it’s time to call it quits on their marriage. It becomes clear very quickly that Jill is not going to let Jack go easily...
It was right in my thriller sweet spot, not too gory, not too scary, a domestic road trip thriller? I was so excited! Sadly, this just wasn’t for me! It’s hard reviewing a thriller without giving anything away, but I was just… so frustrated and unsatisfied! I will say I was never tempted to DNF (“did not finish”) this book because it was a quick read that kept my attention, so there’s something to be said for that!
Jill might not be happy in her marriage, but she was happy enjoying a seafood Cobb salad, paired with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. I have not been able to stop thinking about either, so I am pairing this book with a Sauvignon Blanc and hoping to hunt down that salad!
