The Hunting Wives
The Hunting Wives
May Cobb
my review : ✮✮✮
Think of your least favorite Desperate Housewives character. This book is basically written from her POV (in the best way).
Sophie, her husband, and her perfect baby move from Chicago to a small town in Texas to slow down and live a quiet life. Once in TX, Sophie is bored and a bit obsessed with wealthy socialite Margot. Once Margot adds Sophie to her exclusive friend group, shit gets insane. Guns, sex, murder, and lots of dirty martinis.
Good, fast-paced writing. Sucks you in immediately. Gripping beach read that you’ll probably be disturbed by the entire time you read it and tear through in a few hours.
