Will They Or Won't They
Will They Or Won't They
Ava Wilder
my review : ✮✮✮
A sweet romance brimming with tension and, as the title indicates, bursting with “will they or won’t they” energy.
This story follows Lilah and Sean, two costars of the hit TV show Intangible. From the moment the actors meet, they are instantly attracted to each other. Unfortunately, their relationship fizzles out, and they have to suffer through five more seasons playing love interests. While their characters have the country smitten with their love story, the reality is that the actors haven’t talked unless a camera has been running for years. After deciding she can’t take another moment working with her ex, Lilah decides to leave the show. Two years later, she’s returned and is forced to confront her past and all she left unresolved.
This Hollywood romance was such a treat. It felt like a love story between grown-ups, which I found refreshing. A sweet and sexy story of love, forgiveness, and growth. I liked this story, but didn’t totally love it. I can’t put my finger on why. I just know I wasn’t dying to pick it up throughout the day, which is normally the case with romance novels I love. Still worth the read!
It feels only appropriate to enjoy this with a Hollywood martini! Swipe for the recipe!
