This book was just such a delight! From the moment I picked it up, I loved Nathan and Bea’s chemistry and their banter.

Bea is pissed because her best friends are getting divorced, and her ex-BFF’s divorce attorney is making everything so much worse. Angry, she storms into his office to let him know exactly how she feels (I know, this almost lost me, too!!). After telling him off and feeling better about the whole situation, she’s shocked to run into him days later at a very important networking event. Soon she realizes she might have insulted the wrong guy, because they keep running into each other everywhere! And he’s insanely hot! And kind!!

There’s a little bit of forced proximity, a lot of enemies-to-lovers tension, and overall it was a sexy (open door 👀) and fun romance! I just had a great time reading it!

I’m pairing this book with a basil martini because Bea loves a vodka martini, and I want to try this fun twist that takes advantage of all the basil growing in your herb garden (not a problem I personally have, but one I hope to have in the future!).
