The Spanish Love Deception
The Spanish Love Deception
Elena Armas
my review : ✮✮✮✮
She’s swooning!!!!!!!
An EXCRUCIATING slow burn. A cheesy title. A pretend-to-be-dating storyline. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?
This is for the lovers of love, this is not for someone who loves thrillers but wants to dip their toe into the romance pool… if that’s you, I have other books you should start with. This is for the reader who lives for a proper romance, so it was right up my alley.
Catalina Martin needs a date to her sister’s wedding… because she may have bent the truth and told her family she was madly in love (not true) with her (nonexistent) boyfriend to avoid some awkwardness when she goes back to Spain for the first time in a long time. Enter her annoying, rude, yet totally sexy co-worker who offers to fake it as her date… I think you can see where this is going…
You can cut the sexual tension in this book with a butter knife.
Best paired with a glass of mezcal, might I suggest @lalunamezcal 🌙
Besos 💋

my favorite quote:
“Because it was all you were willing to give me. And I’d rather have you hating me than not have you at all.”
