Any time I read this book before bed, I was asleep in minutes…. so if you’ve been having trouble sleeping, maybe pick this up?
This is by the same author who wrote The Devil Wears Prada …. my only question is HOW. I was bored to death, and so happy this was a library book, and I didn’t spend my hard-earned money on it.
This is the story of a high-profile news anchor (think Katie Couric), her talented and bright daughter (the only character I liked), her perfect suburban SAHM sister, and a lie that ruins their perfectly crafted lives. Honestly, this is such a snooze. I want to tell you the lie just to save you the read.
Best paired with a glass of warm milk and bedtime 😴 🛌 💤
