my review : ✮✮✮
Whenever I read books like this, I’m like, "What do you call this genre??" It’s not a thriller, not a romance, not a historical fiction... It’s just a story about people living life. But a story that’s entertaining and makes you feel like you lived a little life, and maybe you learned something.
This book is about a couple who decide to have a six month open marriage (don’t panic, there are rules). If that premise makes you a little judgey and sanctimonious, this might not be the book for you. But I found this entertaining, and I found the writing addicting.
It’s necessary to enjoy this with a Pinot Noir. I don’t think I read a single page without drinking it. Don’t judge... or do!! I don’t care. But also maybe don’t drink red wine in a white bed!!
