This is the sequel to The Friend Zone and normally when a sequel comes out I am not overly enthused because how can you ever live up to the original?? Despite my reservations, this book amazing.

I am going to completely omit the synopsis because it will ruin The Friend Zone for you, so just trust me that this is a rip your heart out love story.

This author writes the banter of my dreams. I loves these characters and this story. As soon as I put the book down I missed them.

One of the coolest things about this book is that every chapter starts with a song that the author suggests you listen to, to set the tone of the chapter 🎶 🎼. It’s magical and brilliant and I don’t know why more books don’t do this! It’s like making the book a movie without getting angry that they cast everyone all wrong.

Best enjoyed with a mimosa.... ideally one with less OJ than my situation here 🍊

• The Friend Zone (this can be read as a standalone… but just read the first book this is the best series)

• A book that has a built-in playlist !! (how cool ??)
